Welcome to Mark Keppel Visual and Performing Arts Magnet, home of the Cougars!  Keppel is a unique school that offers both an intensive arts program as well as a Korean Dual language program.  We are the largest elementary school in Glendale, with close to 1000 students in grades Kindergarten thru 5th.

Every member of our staff is committed to working in partnership with our parents and community to provide the highest quality education for your child. At Keppel, we embrace and celebrate each student's unique contributions, and inspire each student to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.  We have created a caring community in which students are encouraged to focus on respect, responsibility and safety.  Our instructional program uses a variety of strategies and methods to ensure that every child succeeds.

Mark Keppel has an active parent community who support us through their membership and involvement with our award-winning PTA and Make Keppel Special Foundation (MKS), volunteering in classrooms, fundraising and planning activities and events for the students and staff.
